hello,
My name is Jen.
I love the taste of green in the spring, juicy stain-your-hands summer berries and peaches, crisp autumn apples that snap, and both the emotional and literal warmth of peppermint tea, oatmeal and toast on a winter morning. Most of all I love how food connects people, memories and ideas.
I am drawn to things that have meaning, things that are functional, and things that are beautiful with natural elements; especially food.
For two years, my little family and I eliminated animal products from our diets due to intolerances (mostly cow's dairy). When we began to reintroduce them, we found that we were much happier and had more vitality with less animal products in our systems. We are neither vegetarian nor vegan, we eat animal products once in a while, but we always pleasure in local, seasonal food and lots of dessert.
where to find me..
