The February 2009 challenge is hosted by Wendy of WMPE's blog and Dharm of Dad ~ Baker & Chef. We have chosen a Chocolate Valentino cake by Chef Wan; a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Dharm and a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Wendy as the challenge.

So I'm doing what is traditionally sound and getting fat for the day. Although I don't celebrate Lent so... really I'm just overeating on eggs milk and butter the old fashioned way with reckless abandon and not facing my responsibilities as a dutiful religious person and going without for forty days. like that would ever happen.

All afternoon the sun has been shining, warming my heart and cold toes. Such a beautiful afternoon calls for beautiful food. So I went to Elaine's Bakery and got a raspberry mousse for after lunch.

we woke up to perfectly beautiful 'stay inside' weather;
trimmed the red roses my love gave me, set them on the kitchen table;
had cinnamon cream french toast with berries and syrup - even though I planned for this;
about to tidy up the house; do a little shopping;
then we'll snuggle up for movies, our annual sushi dinner, and maybe a make out session. ;)
hope your valentine's is romantic.
ever heard of utah stories? Well it's a local site that highlights everything about our lovely beehive state, even little known things like pole dancing classes. I'm thinking of signing up for a class, post natal. ;)
Well, it just so happens that there was an article on 10 of 'utah's best food blogs' and guess who was mentioned... nay, in the ranking?
yes, yours truly.
go check it out.
it has most definitely made my day.
